shahrial@fujitecsg.com... User unknown
/dead.letter... Saved message in /dead.letter

Re: Saved message in /dead.letter

Hello Joseph,

Could you check your DS variable in the /etc/mail/sendmail.cf file ?

# grep DS /etc/mail/sendmail.cf
DSwebmail.$m

# nslookup webmail

Re: Saved message in /dead.letter

I think the user shahrial is not available in the domain of fujuitecsg.

You can check it in your machine as,

echo test | sendmail -v xyxz@localhost

hth.
Easy to suggest when don't know about the problem!

Re: Saved message in /dead.letter

Do 'sendmail -bv shahrial@fujitecsg.com' and
'sendmail -bv shahrial' , this will check whether the mail is deliverable and how, pls give the outputs..
Also 'sendmail -bt' , u will get a prompt for address testing , there u type
'/parse shahrial@fujitecsg.com' , it should show that the user is local . Press ^d to come out from the prompt.

Re: Saved message in /dead.letter

/usr/sbin/expand_alias shahrial

Does it resolve?? Put the alias for user in /etc/mail/aliases file. Do a newaliases.

Test now.
