Re: Secure Web Console Firmware Upgrade

Secure Web Console Firmware Upgrade

Hi!

I've tried to find a location from where I can update the firmware of my external Secure Web Console, the location mentioned at

ftp://192.151.11.37/dist/webconsole/XX.X
or
ftp://docs.hp.com/dist/webconsole/XX.X

doesn't work. All the locations postet in older threads don't exist anymore and I can't find one neither on the HP site nor under the ITRC/DLs/individual patches and firmware link.

Regards,
Sandor

Re: Secure Web Console Firmware Upgrade

Sandor,

Go to the "maintenance and support for hp products" link on the left hand side of this page, click on "find individual patches and firmware", then click on the "firmware" link. You can then search for your server and Secure Web Console.

Re: Secure Web Console Firmware Upgrade

Hi!

I think the docs.hp.com and 192.6.165.37 are the same host, and I only get this error message from our firewall:

FTP protocol error:
ftp://192.6.165.37/dist/webconsole/A2.0/
(CMD: NLST -> RSP: Can't build data connection: Connection refused.)

I try to browse all firmware on ITRC, without success :(

Re: Secure Web Console Firmware Upgrade

Hi!

I have an external SWC (Prod. No. J3591A), and I want to use it with a HP9000/H70 server.

Re: Secure Web Console Firmware Upgrade

I have found support for the webconsole to
be poor at best. Searching for the product
tends not to find any suppot documentation.
The latest firmware version does not appear
to work well with current browsers.
