Shutdown Privileges

Hello All,

I have to provide privileges to shutdown HP-Unix (11.31) servers to our client but without giving root password.
Kindly give your advise on this how to do that.

Is it possible through sudo?

Thanks,
Ranjeet

Re: Shutdown Privileges

Hi Ranjeet,

An other option is to add a user to the /etc/shutdown.allow file.
