If you enforce a domain change-password policy and have remote laptop users hitting Exchange via RPC/HTTP, OWA users, or Mac / Linux users hitting Exchange, or domain workstation users that do not log off their computer for long periods you may want to look at this tool called Password Reminder PRO. http://www.sysoptools.com/password-reminder-pro.html
It is designed to look up your user accounts in AD and intelligently send a personalized reminder email to the user, informing them that their password will expire in x days. you can customize the email reminder and set the reminder number of days in advance that it should be sent. This is a very cool tool!

*Note- This is 3rd-party software, and it is free to use now (beta program open now) but will probably require purchasing later. I'm testing it now at my work, and IMO it is a pretty useful and beats the 'write a script' method hands down-
