Sound Drivers for HP KayakXA

Hello,

Does any one tried Sound drivers on HP Kayak XA for RH 7.2. & it is having AZT1008 card.

Here is info of /proc/bus/isapnp/devices :

Hi

I guess you need to use ad1848 as driver.
But I am not sure you need following patches for your box.

Have you tried sndconfig?

Hi

I have even tried to configure thr' sndconfig and it detects the sound card but following error has occurred running the modprobe program.

/lib/modules/2.4.7-10/kernel/drivers/sound/ad1848.o: init_module: No such device

/lib/modules/2.4.7-10/kernel/drivers/sound/ad1848.o: insmod

/lib/modules/2.4.7-10/kernel/drivers/sound/ad1848.o failed

/lib/modules/2.4.7-10/kernel/drivers/sound/ad1848.o: insmod sound-slot-0 failed

Any solution to this..?

and also in www.alsa-project.org, I am able to find the support for AZT23xx and above for alsa 0.0
