SuSe 8.2 on the Pavilion zd7000
Everything worked out ok. I had a few problems:
-The modem was not detected. Which is ok with me.
(If you need the modem, for $15.00 you can get a driver from Linuxant.com, free driver only goes to 14.4kbps).
I did not buy the wireless card because it lacked Linux support. (If you did, checkout Linuxant.com again)
- Had a problem with power management. SuSe's install don't compile the kernal with AC-adapter support. I may have caused this with my custom install. (Worked fine with the SuSe 9.0 live-CD). Think I'll upgrade in a few weeks.
- The 1440x900 LCD screen was also a problem. This XF86Config will take care of it:

I didn't install the latest Nvidia 3D driver because, I maybe moving to SuSe9.0,Gentoo,or LFS soon.
