Suppress iLO4_1_TestEvent

Hello,

in IRS 7.0.8 we got al lot of "iLO4_1_TestEvent" Messages from the Servers.

Is there a way to suppress this messages, because every time two Mails (Case Open, Case Closed) are generated.

In iLO or IRS?

We dont want to disable general Case Mail notifications.

thx Cali

To change the notifications  in Insight Remote Support you can go to:

Administrator Settings>Integration Adapters>Email Adapter.

Here's where you can select what type of notifications you wish to receive

Regards

Re: Suppress iLO4_1_TestEvent

I know this, but here is only selected:

Case Opened(Email default and backup contacts for device)

Case Closed(Email default and backup contacts for device)

The Problem is that the autogenerated iLO Test Events also Open a Case, that is going out and than be automaticly Closed by HP Backend. So this (iLO Test "Case") will generate 2 Mails per Server per Day.

If you have a lot of Servers, you get many EMails for this iLO Test Events every Day and the Real Important Cases are somewere in the middle.

Re: Suppress iLO4_1_TestEvent

Unfortuntately, at this time - the tool doesn't differentiate between test events and other events when generating the email.

Is there something you could do with an email filter, perhaps, to filter out "test event" ?

We can add this to the list of enhancement requests for the product - but I cannot say how/when it might be delivered.
