Sybase Version 11 conversion to SQL 2000
Hello,
I would like to convert a database that resides on a Sybase Server Version 11 to a SQL 2000 database.
Could anyone tell me what is involved or lead me to any information containing the conversion detail.
Thankyou

Re: Sybase Version 11 conversion to SQL 2000
Me again,
Just to clarify I would like to restore the data from a backup taken from Sybase Version 11 database and restore it onto a SQL 2000 database, I am not interested in all the other aspects concerning the migration of one database to another.
Hope I have explained myself well..
Thanks :-)

Re: Sybase Version 11 conversion to SQL 2000
Hi Oktay,
This document should help:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/technet/prodtechnol/sql/reskit/sql2000/part2/c0661.asp
By no means does it look like a walk in the park.
HTH,
Jeff
