Hi - each time I try to sync licence protected music from my PC based windows media player 10 to my ipaq (which also has media player 10) - I get a message within my pc based media player 10 saying "Windows media player cannot play the protected file because the required security upgrade is not available for download".
I am trying to sync to my ipaq storage card which is in my ipaq device.
At the moment I have bought some music from MSN music and cannot listen to this music on my ipaq but can listen to it on the PC.
Can anyone help?
Regards
Patrick

Solution
Hi, Patrick,
Are you using the Beta version of media player 10? If so, install the new version.
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download/default.asp
If using the latest version of media 10, install the latest digital rights management (DRM) components

Excellent! Thanks Pat - it worked straight away.
BTW - do you know where I can get a managed forum such as this for my own site? I particularly like the user ratings system.
