System Options Not Set
When i turn the system on this is what comes up on the screen.
162-System Options Not Set-(Run Setup)
Insert diagnostic diskette in Drive A:
(RESUME F1" KEY)
I do not have a diagnostic diskette. I do not
know what windows program is on this computer.
How do i get this to run, do i have to format, and where do i find a diagnotic diskette?
Serial number is 4924HZ3H0342.
Any help is appreciated.

We'll need the exact model number from the Compaq label on the back or bottom of the computer case. Be prepared - you may not be able to find anything for a product that old.

There are 3 2520 models: 2520ap, 2520ea, and 2520La. Can you narrow it down for us? Thanks.

I'm sorry. I can't find anything about this machine on Compaq's website. I hope Ron Kinner can read this and see if he knows how to solve your problem. He knows a lot about the Compaq website.
