Testing a Certificate
http://ftp.u-strasbg.fr/linux/distributions/redhat/current/en/doc/RH-DOCS/rhl-cg-en-9/s1-secureserver-selfsigned.html
hello, i followed the steps in the above link in creating a key and certificate. After rebooting the server and successfully restarting the services I'm not sure how to test the certificate. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Testing a Certificate
Hi Kyle,
Just follow once again the link :
http://ftp.u-strasbg.fr/linux/distributions/redhat/current/en/doc/RH-DOCS/rhl-cg-en-9/s1-secureserver-installcert.html
In fact, you just have to connect to https://www.yoursite.com (notice s in https) from a remote machine, conecting means that you'll have successfully installed your certificate.
If you connect from a windows box, you can select in explorer options. internet option /security parameters to be asked before accepting a certificate.
You can do the same in Mozilla from edit preferences security and certificates (always ask).
So you'll be able to see your certificate and be prompted to accept it or not.

Re: Testing a Certificate
If it worked before your cetificate, then it didn't work. Re-try to create the certificate on this machine...
