Thin Client network booting

Does anyone have experience with network booting the t5515 or t5525? Also, will a i686 kernel boot on these machines?

I ask because I would like to test a setup using the Fedora stateless project.

You probably can boot Intel compatible systems off of a Fedora Core Server/installation. If the device is not Intel 32 bit compatible, it probably will not work.

The t5515 terminal uses a TransMeta Crusoe processor which has this statement on the product website:

'It can run today's most demanding x86 applications, consumes less power than other x86 processors on the market, ...'

Now, whether this means it'll run a i686 or i586 kernel is not clear, but it will definately run an i386 kernel.

The t5525 runs a Via Eden processor, which falls into the same category.
