Tool to read SHC Output Report
Hi,
How can read the .xml output files generated by SHC, my customer does not want to send the data file to HP. What tools do I need to do that.
Fred
Thanks

Re: Tool to read SHC Output Report
Fred,
As I understand it, although the shc software is available for free download, thes services from HP that make use of it are *not* free - i.e. They are either part of a specific support contract offering (such as Proactive or Mission Critical Support), or part of a standalone service offering.
The point is that you *can't* get the software that would read the xml files as this is part of the service HP offer.
Why doesn't your customer want to send data to HP? The files don't contain anything that a RC engineer wouldn't ask for as part of a support call anyway.
What are you actually trying to achieve here?

Re: Tool to read SHC Output Report
What you are asking for is asomething that is owned and belongs to HP
We do not give that away, althought the SHC tool can be obtained for free.
As Duncan says, I have run these reports many times, and there is absolutely nothing in them that could be used "incorrectly" by an HP person in any way.
