UJ557AC

We bought a rx7640 off the secondary market... and want to get software support (no hardware support).

The service contract quote (via our HP channel) lists two charges: one for HA151AC, and one for UJ557AC. The UJ557AC is a one-time re-instatement charge, and is 150% of the HA151AC charge.

Anybody every heard of UJ557AC?
The people are the hardest part.

I seem to recall there being a re-instatement charge but I thought it was for hardware rather than software. I would ask your vendor about it. Usually they are pretty well informed about the costs associated with "secondary market" equipment.
