Hi Oscar,

Check the permissions of the recipent's mailfile. For ex. if the recipient is root then check for group read/write permissions on the file "/var/mail/root". The permissions on the recipient's mail file should be 660. If you have access to the server where the mail is being delivered then check it yourself or ask its administrator to do the same.

In a nutshell the recipient's mailfile should have the octal permission 660.

Assuming that "mailx" is being used, check the permissions on /usr/bin/mailx, they should be read and execute for user, group, and other.

You can also run, as root, mailq -v -d and see what other permissions or ownership problems there may be.
