Unix txt file to PDF

I am struggling to find a tool to create the TXT output as a PDF file, as we want to use the PDF digital signing capabilities for order approvals.

Shalom,

You probably need ghostscript and its dependencies and xpdf from the software porting and archive center.

Don't forget the dependencies, even if its a dozen packages or you will be wondering why it won't work.

Re: Unix txt file to PDF

Have a look at a program called txt2pdf. The cost is $39.

Re: Unix txt file to PDF

There used to be a version of Adobe Acrobat for UNIX. We used it all the time to create PDFs for web based viewing.

Google it..

Re: Unix txt file to PDF

On Linux there is "enscript".

I see that that HPUX porting archive has it:

Re: Unix txt file to PDF

Consider also at the HPUX porting archive (previous posting) search for and look at "nenscript".
