Are there any known problems when upgrading from
OmniBack 3.0 to 3.5. The Cell Manager server is a
HP9000 series D370 running HP-UX 11.0. What kind of problems should I be expecting, if any? thanks

Solution
I upgraded from 2.55 to 3.5 a couple months back. No problem. It looks scarier than it is.
Followed the instructions...then pushed out the new version to all the clients and everything went fine. It was simple, I couldn't believe I had put it off...
Just take a nice quiet day...make a solid backup first, and then go for it.

Re: Upgrade OmniBack 3.0 to 3.5
I already upgraded a few installations from version 3.0 and version 3.10 to 3.50 and each time it went fine.
First upgrade your cell manager, then your installation servers (UNIX, NT), and then roll-out the newer versions (upgrade) to the other Clients.
I think it not such a big or difficult action. Go for it.

Re: Upgrade OmniBack 3.0 to 3.5
I upgraded from 3.0 to 3.5 and the only problem I had was the syntax on the pre-exec it did not like the following
pre_script.sh 2>&1
We took out the standard error redirection.
