Is there a unix based VNC server/client that I can down load from somewhere (free), as I have people asking me to do stuff because they have no xclient on their PC.
Regards,
JASH

Re: VNC for HP-UX
1) Make sure the firewall does not block traffic.
2) After installation, which includes a file with instructions, there is a script called vncserver. You run that script and it creates a server daemon on port 5901. If you run it again , you get a daemon on port 5902.
The script itself can be modified.
The realvnc website has documentation with more detail to meet your needs.
Note that realvnc by default sends is password information in clear text. You can go with an encrypted authentication with more work and I recommend that.
