VNC
Hi,
I am trying to build a VNC environment on a HP-UX 11 (64bit) machine.
I have been following the instructions at http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/ and successfully built everything except for Xvnc.
I get a make error "Make: Must be a separator on rules line 511. Stop." for a dynamically created make file "Makefile.proto".
On investigation, this is due to space characters instead of tab characters on the command lines.
I can't get past this point.
Has anyone successfully built VNC on this platform?
Thanks

Re: VNC
have you tried:
http://hpux.ee.ualberta.ca/hppd/hpux/Networking/Misc/x2vnc-1.2/
??
Also, when using anything that requires gcc, you will usually need "Gnu's make" and "Gnu's as".
live free or die

Re: VNC
Hello Pete,
there is even a pre-compiled one somewhere on the XP512-pages - hp used to use it as one of the remote control packages...
You can download it from their web-server (but I remember it was hidden rather well :-( got it somewhere if you cannot find it).
HTH,
Wodisch
