WBEM (WBEMSvcs_A.02.07.04) installation fails

Hello,

I was trying to install WBEM to a HP-UX B.11.11 (with the newest GoldenPack B.11.11.0906.480), but the "Configure Execution Phase" fails.

Here's the log:

* Beginning the Configure Execution Phase.
NOTE: A new version of "/etc/opt/wbem/providerVersion" has been
installed on the system.
NOTE: /etc/opt/hp/sslshare/file.pem and /etc/opt/hp/sslshare/cert.pem - SSL Certificate file already exists.
New certificates are not created.
NOTE: CIM Repository is being built - please be patient
NOTE: Starting cimserver daemon
ERROR: Failed to start cimserver
for loading of mof files.
ERROR: The "configure" script for "WBEMServices.WBEM-CORE" failed
(exit code "1"). The script location was
"/var/tmp/BAAa04354/catalog/WBEMServices/WBEM-CORE/configure".
* This script had errors and the execution of this fileset
cannot proceed until the problem is fixed. Check the above
output from the script for further details.

* Summary of Execution Phase:
ERROR: Installed WBEMServices.WBEM-CORE,r=A.02.07.04
ERROR: 1 of 4 filesets had Errors.
* 3 of 4 filesets had no Errors or Warnings.
ERROR: The Execution Phase had errors. See the above output for
details.

This is the only information I got from it.

Do you have any clues what went wrong, or how to investigate it?

"/var/tmp/BAAa04354/catalog/WBEMServices/WBEM-CORE/configure".

That script has a log file with more information.

There will probably be a pre-requisite missing.

Hello SEP,

the temporary file "/var/tmp/BAAa04354/catalog/WBEMServices/WBEM-CORE/configure" was created during the installation and removed after swinstall exited.

The information posted is from the log file which was generated after the installation.

I have checked and met all prerequisities.

The problem was with bad permissions to root "/". I don't know why it had permissions 644 instead of 755.
