Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion

I get this message in the terminal window from which I run the runInstaller script. It doesn't seem to cause any further problems. It is just irratating.

Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion
Warning: Cannot convert string "-dt-interface user-medium-r-normal-s*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*" to type FontSet

What is it all about?
I thought that I was because I had thought.
