Warning message about GPT and EFI during Centos 6.4 installation

I have a HP MicroServer and I install CentOS 6.4,  after setting partition layout

[ My partition

/boot  250 MB

/SWAP 16 GB

/ 20 GB

/var 40 GB ]

then  I receive the following message:

"You are using a GPT bootdisk on a non-EFI system. This may not work, depending on your BIOS’s support for booting from GPT disks."

After install completes the System is not booting.

Please advise me.

Re: Warning message about GPT and EFI during Centos 6.4 installation

Your harddisk is partitioned with the GPT layout. RHEL6 (and its clones) does not understand this well enough. You need to boot a recent live DVD (like Mint) and use gparted to completely remove all GPT stuff. Afterwards you can use  MBR to store the drives layout.
