Which mib gives the # of disks information on HPUX system.

I wanted to know the mib oid which can give me the # of disks on an HPUX system, so that I can query the snmp Agents on it.

I'm not sure if there is such an OID that will report the number of disks, but if it helps this OID will report the number of mounted file systems :-

1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.3.1.2.1.0

Hi,

that particular OID is provided by the HP-UX specific ("Enterprise") class MIB.

I had a quick look around and if you want the MIB I'm sure there are many places you can get it - the first one I found was in this other old thread :-
