Alas, I'm afraid I have to join the "NOT" list - again.

Have fun, Patrick and all you others who do go.

Re: Who **IS NOT** going to HP Tech Forum 2010?

Hi,

I am in Madrid-Spain, far away from Las Vegas, and I'd like to go there, play Black Jack and get married dressed up as Elvis..

Have fun!

Re: Who **IS NOT** going to HP Tech Forum 2010?

I'm not planning on going. It's my dime.

However, flights and hotel rooms in Vegas are dirt cheap. Thing is, Thank G-d I have the money and schedule flexibility to do it, if I want.

So if someone I know is going to be there, I might do a "drive by" type visit, merely to get together with ITRC buddies.

Sadly, I cannot attend too.

HP in Australia does not fund these kind of
events easily :(

Unless I can hire some spaceship, international
travel is strictly off-limits most of the time.

Re: Who **IS NOT** going to HP Tech Forum 2010?

Neither am I.

Too far away (and thus too expensive). Would not yield enough to cover the costs.

Besides that, I'm short on time. Too much to do. As usual.

I hope those that do go have tons of fun.

After 4 HP-TechForums, (and some nice Prizus) no heading there no more.... but RedHat Svmmit bound instead...

HP-UX is becoming legacy in me shop...

Re: Who **IS NOT** going to HP Tech Forum 2010?

Hi,

no, I don't think that my boss will treat me to fly to Vegas.
One the other side UX is disappearing more and more in my company because workstation are no longer distributed by HP.
Sad enough ...

Re: Who **IS NOT** going to HP Tech Forum 2010?

V. -- so the UNIX-away movement is happening in thine shopppe too?

I guess the Enterprise Linux movement is here to stay -- with uber-powerful X86, multi-core CPUs and RAS "greatures".

This probably explains why ServiceGuard on Linux has been discontinued with HP suggesting to go instad with the Linux Distro's Cluster Implementation...

No points of course.

Re: Who **IS NOT** going to HP Tech Forum 2010?

I implied I might go.

I'm simply too tired from flying around the country and the world to do this.

Not.
