Who authenticated me?

Who authenticated me?

On WNT W/S, how can I tell which Domain Controller authenticated my logon.

I would like to know where in the registry it is kept, if at all, and if there
are any utilities that can supply this info.

Re: Who authenticated me?

Look for userinfo.ini in your windowsNT ditrectory. In there you will find the
information you need.

Re: Who authenticated me?

There is no such file on my PC.

If I use Kix95, I can issue the LSERVER command that will return the logon
server that authenticated my session. This is what I am looking for.

Re: Who authenticated me?

Hi,

there are two ways to determine which domain controller has authenticated your
login:
1. From the command prompt run set and check for the variable LOGONSERVER or
2. open Start, Administrative Tools, Windows NT Diagnostics, Network
