Win98 System Freezing since install of HP4050

I installed an HP 4050TN with the PCL6 printer driver and now I this system keeps freezing constantly...Any suggestions?

Uninstall the PCL 6 driver and use the PCL 5 driver.

If you have the internet available do the install that asked do you want to install from the internet. That will give you the lastest drivers. I had a similar problem and getting updated drivers seemed to help.
