Windows 2000 on BT953

I have installed Windows2000 on HP BT 953 (P3) System. When i go to device manager it shows device "Simple PCI Controller" as unknown device. I am unable to access my network card. This card was built-in to this HP System. I have also checked it in computer management tool. This device is using same IRQ which is already used by sound card i.e IRQ 9.
