Windows XP

I can't get win XP to recognize my cd-r and my keyboard that came with me 8766c Pav. What can i do, i looked on the site for update drivers, but couldn't find any. When the final version of win XP is released, i don't want to get it if it doesn't support my cd-r/keyboard. I'm loving the beta, but could someone help me
