X server not strting

CDE server is not starting on my HPUX machine it display a error saying
SUSPENDING DESKTOP LOGIN

CANNOT LOGIN ERROR 0 SERVER ERROR

are you sure that's what it says ..... never seen that error before : most likely causes are network / hostname resolution.

More clues / accurate errors maybe found in /var/dt/Xerrors & $HOME/.dt/errorlog. If so use search facility as forums have covered most of the obvious CDE/X starting issues

You may also consider running dr_dt for clues and is this occuring on a PC or locally on an hpux server or workstation ?
