Xvfb init scripts
ftp://hprc.external.hp.com/Xvfb/
username/password: xgraphic/xgraphic
There are startup scripts located there. I am not sure which one to use for 11.11. I am not sure it even matters. I found a doc awhile back about which to use but have been unsuccessful in finding it again. Any help would be gratly appreciated.

Re: Xvfb init scripts
Use the newest version it will probably work unmodified.
The tar files all contain valid init scripts.
It may be necessary to modify the behavior of the daemon for oracle reports in /etc/rc.config.d/xvfb

Re: Xvfb init scripts
xvfb_init.0.2.1.tar.gz looks good to me. The init script and config file are pretty basic, so a quick visual inspection should tell you whether they'll work or not.

Re: Xvfb init scripts
if you are using this for Oracle Reports, this works perfectly well. The good thing is that you can start it automatically unlike if you were using a true X display.
We have been using it for years.
good luck!
kind regards
