Zonelabs

Zone alarm displayed a message about an internet connection. I followed the steps, but now I am wondering why it displays a different (I think it is different) isp number. It asked me to name the connection and I left it as it was in the displayed window "new connection" which is now 70.65.157.0/255.255.0 Is this something to worry about or can I trust the program.

Re: Zonelabs

Hello Joe,

Go to the command prompt and type
ipconfig/all

check to see what is your ip address and compare it to the one ZoneLab listed? If it's yours then just accept it.
You could have trusted yout internal IP Address the first time.

Also, at the command prompt, type
netstat -na

You'll get a list of all the IP addresses listening to open ports. Look for that IP Address and tell us what you see.

Hope this help

Re: Zonelabs

If it helps, a traceroute seems to indicate that the address is associated with Shaw Cable
If at first you don't succeed, you must be installing Windows

Latif, I did type it in the "run" window or is command prompt different? However, Michael solved the problem by doing the trace route Shaw cable is my ISP provider thanks.
