alpha linux developer tools no longer available??
Hi, I wanted to install Linux onto my XP1000 and use the Compaq/HP C/C++. I have an old CD from Compaq with the compilers, but wanted to use the new ones from the ftp-site.
I registered for the enthusiast license, but there is no response and some parts of the web seem to be dead.
Any idea, what to do?
Thanks + Regards

Re: alpha linux developer tools no longer available??
Hi,
no, it's regarding this link:
ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/products/linuxdevtools/latest/downloads.html
There you can get the compilers from Tru64 for Linux. They work better and have a better optimization. My problem is now to get an enthusiasts license and the keys to decrypt the encrypted archives. Some years ago these files were not encrypted (I still have them on a Compaq CD, but very old - 2000).
The link to enregister for this license:
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/software/alpha-tools/enthuse.html
is not working any longer (loops somehow). I already filed a complain about it. I also could fill out the forms one time, but got no response.
I will now use the link Cheryl gave me to find out, if somebody is caring about that.
Thanks !!
