backup linux using Acronis True Image Home

hi

I'd like to backup my Debian using Acronis True Image Home, but I'm getting this error:

Some partitions contain errors and can only be imaged sector by sector.

shutdown -F -r now

or

fsck on all linux partitions could not help.

Re: backup linux using Acronis True Image Home

Shalom,

You are trying to back up a partition that can not be backed up.

Try doing test backups one by 1 to identify the trouble area.

Then see about excluding this partition or correcting what is actually wrong with it.

dmesg

/var/log/messages

Any clues to be found.

Re: backup linux using Acronis True Image Home

Backing up disks and partitions is performed in a different way: Acronis True Image Home stores a sector-by-sector snapshot of the disk, which includes the operating system, registry, drivers, software applications and data files, as well as system areas hidden from the user.
This procedure is called ├в creating a disk image,├в and the resulting backup archive is often called a disk/partition image.
