cdrom boot path for a 800/G30

Does anyone know (or know how to get), the boot path for an old 800/G30 system?

I need to rebuild this system because it will not boot to the primary or secondary boot path.I don't know how to find the cdrom path on this older system because it does not have a search command.

Here is a path from another posting. It should be the same as yours.

boot 52.2.0.0.0.0.0

It should be 52.2.0 , that's the path that shows up in my G class machine (for the cdrom). So when you boot from it the actual path to use would be ..
52.2.0.0.0.0.0

Hi,

if you already shutdown the machine, power on the machine, interrupt the boot process (by pressing any key within 10 secs)
main menu> sea
will diplay all bootable paths , you can makeout the CD Drive path from the list.

If the machine still running, you can use
#ioscan -fnC disk

or sam-->Disk and file system --> Disks will give you all Disks paths(including CD)
