I think the answers point out that you need to define if you are interested in a performance cluster (Steven's answer) or one targeted at High Availability (Shaikh's response).

For HP supported clusters http://h10018.www1.hp.com/wwsolutions/linux/clusters.html is a good starting point. This should give much of the high level comparison data on both types of clusters.

The docs that Shaikh's references are old. If you want detailed docs go to http://docs.hp.com/hpux/ha/index.html#ServiceGuard%20for%20Linux and look for the docs that are February 2004.
