color problem
any idea why the colour of an image for example BMP files changes if it runs along with some other application for example any video.
it means two application are running

This may happen due to external magnetic interference. See if UPS or any other monitor is kept nearby.

A video player may be changing the gamma correction setting of the X server. That is
a mapping from pixel level to actual brightness
which affects the apparent brightness of values
between black and full on. It can be set by
the xgamma command or XF86VidModeSetGamma().
