command to send snmp traps

Hi,

Is there a command available on HP-UX to send an snmp trap?

I found the snmptrap command is available with OV but I don;t have it.

I found a command which seems related:
/opt/perf/bin/trapsend

but the usage is a bit cryptic for me:

# ./trapsend
usage: trapsend agent_addr community gen-trap [spec-trap enterprise sysUpTime [variable_name type value]...]
where type is:
-i - integer,
-o - octet,
-d - object identifier
-a - ip_addr
-c - counter
-g - gauge
-t - time_ticks
-u - unsigned integer 32
-D - Display String
-N - NULL
#

Can somebdy please explain the usage of this command or any other command to send snnp traps?

This is indeed some 'ambiguous' area of hpux.

There are some docs you can download:
