decompress data

hi all
i have hp-ux and database informix v 5.05
i have a table that contain data but i can't read it.
i think it was converted to binary before store(compressed).
and the script which do this convert is binary file (ican't read it).
so
is that any way to decompress this data??
please help me

You probably need the zlib and a c compiler. Do you have them? If not, I suggest you call a consulting firm and hire them to convert it.
