desktop matrix compatibility

Hi is there a matrix compatibility for hp desktop?
I want to be sure my next computer is fully linux compatible. I'm interested in hp envy all in one but it could be another hp desktop.

Not sure such matrix is available. As an alternative option, you could grab a live dvd from your favorite Linux distro and testdrive it on your prefered system in a store (if they allow you). It would allow you to test the most options right away like sound, display and such.
