Re: /etc/lvmconf info missed
You need to run vgcfgbackup command to recreate the vg config files
Ganesh.

Re: /etc/lvmconf info missed
run "vgcfgbackup" to create or update LVM volume group configuration backup file
By default, vgcfgbackup runs automatically each time an LVM command changes the LVM
configuration.
use -f or -u for create/update old file.
for more information see man page of vgcfgbackup

Re: /etc/lvmconf info missed
vgscan recreates /etc/lvmtab NOT /etc/lvmconf.
you need to do for all vgs
vgcfgbackup -f /tmp/vgname.bkp vgname

Re: /etc/lvmconf info missed
Before doing anything you should backup lvmtab, lvmconf , vg.
#vgcfgbackup -f /tmp/vgbackup vgxx
Scan the primary controller device paths for all the physical volumes on the system and re-create /etc/lvmtab file:
#vgscan -v
The following messages will appear after /etc/lvmtab file is re-created.
*** LVMTAB has been created successfully.
*** If PV links are configured in the system
*** Do the following to resync information on disk.
*** #1. vgchange -a y
*** #2. lvlnboot -R
Then check /etc/lvmconf.

Re: /etc/lvmconf info missed
u should run vgcfgbackup command
vgcfgbackup â create or update LVM volume group configuration backup file
The vgcfgbackup command saves the LVM configuration for a volume group in a default or alternate configuration backup file
eg:vgcfgbackup -f /tmp/vg00.backup vg00
thanks and regards
