Re: exceed question

Exceeeeeeeed! - Shift f2 should work, but if not, set your Start Bar to auto and then right click any grey bit and minimise all windows.

Re: exceed question

Kevin,

yes alt+tab might be a solution.
Could you make the MS-Task panel come to the front? Then you can do it with the right mouse button. (I currently tested with the configuration "multiple window" instead of "single window" so I have had still the standard MS-Windowmanager icons in the top right.

It's not much but perhaps it helps.

Re: exceed question

thanks for the replies

Yes - alt+tab works but I want to minimise the window and in CDE it is a whole screen and there are no borders around it to click on

Chaz sorry shift + f2 didnt work - where are you setting up the start bar to auto ??

Re: exceed question

Alt-Esc works for me in single-window mode.

Re: exceed question

Sorry for the late reply......

Auto-Hide Start Menu Bar thing....

Right click on any unoccupied space on the 'start bar'
Select propeties and tick auto-hide.

This should make the start bar thing pop-up annoyingly whenever your mouse wanders into the start menu / bar region.

ps. ALT+Enter might do it!

Hope this is of some use!
