fbackup fails as its dumpfile file is greater than 2 gig

Morning,

We are running fbackup from the HP supplied opc_backup script to backup out VPO (ITO) system. Fbackup returns the following;

ERROR: fbackup(1M) returned an error (exit code 2).
Please check the opc_backup logfile.
Restarting Oracle SQL*Net listener ..

The dumpfile created is over 2 gig and so the backup fails

Does anyone know if two or more dump files can be created or wil we need to split the bakcup into smaller backups to save all our data?

Cheers.....................

Mike
Fbackup will handle files over 2 Gig, I suspect that the failure is because you do not have large files enabled on you file system.

Sam
disks anf file systems
file systems
select file system
modify
enable large files.
