fbackup failure
When we run a scheduled fbackup it gives these messages in syslog.

When we do an interactive backup it works and no error messages.
HP hs already replaced tape drive and cable
Any suggestions

You have a scsi device problem being reported, is the device in syslog your backup device (DAT/DLT)?
I would guess that the backup is failing because the target device is not behaving correctly.
Check all cables/cards and retry backup - if it again fails log a HP support call for the faulty device.

1) Have you tried using schedule to run at 22:00?
2) The messages are from 2:16, at what time does the backup begin and how much time does it need when run interactivly?
3) Have you been on-site when the backup runs?
