Good day!

What are the difference between:
f_bsize
f_frsize
PE Size
stripe size
stripe block size.

What parametrs are important for SAP, oracle?

Re: file system settings

PE Size - Size of each physical extent.
f_bsize - represents the primary block size
f_frsize - represents the fragment size for files
stripe size - This term refers to the size of the stripes written to each disk.
stripe block size - refers to the aize of block size used in stripe

actually the f-bsize is important for oracle or SAP.

In this thread say:
"f_frsize is your os block size"

I confused.

Re: file system settings

f_bsize is a "preferred file system block size"
whereas f_frsize is the "fundamental file system block size"

Thanks,
Johnson
