frecover 5432, 5403 5402 5404, DLT8000, K260

[SM_3]

I cannot recover from a DLT 8000.
#frecover -rovNf /dev/rmt/0m # tried 0mn too#
produces:
frecover 5432
5403
5402
5404
errors
I did a search and found that a patch was needed, namely PHKL_22855. This patch is already installed on the system

System:
K260
HPUX 10.20

I tried to reinstall the patches (required patch needs dependencies) but the K260 would not let me.
Stating that the filesets required a kernel configuration. Kernel configuration failed with an error code 1.

Can anyone help?

Hi,

Are you suggesting that the dependencies were not already on the system before your attempted to reinstall the patches?

I'd recommend that you run swlist -l fileset -a state and check for any filesets not in a configured state, also checking for the dependencies listed in the document referred to in the first response to your question.
