how to build up Integrity SD64 hpux 11iv3 + oracle CRM /RAC + application DR?

We have a new hardware platform Integrity SD64 and our production system will immigrate this platform from old system.Now we want to use hpux 11iv3 + oracle 10g rac + third party software (cascading type filesystems) DR to build our new database environment.I want to know how to realize ? we hope DR filesystems do not depend on Service/Guard,but only use oracle CRM?

Shalom,

Well first you need to see if the Oracle applications are supported on 11.31. They probably are, but check metalink.oracle.com to be sure.

Next you need to see if the old hardware will support 11.31. Run the model command and check http://docs.hp.com for OS support and procedures.

ORacle 10g RAC will work without Serviceguard, their website says so.

So all other facters, including third party software which you tell us NOTHING about, it should just be a matter of following install instructions, e.g. RTFM

Our DR application is used Goldengate replication software.The application software is placed in one filesystems of one node of RAC.When the node of RAC that the DR software locate in is crash the DR application filesystem will can automately switch to another node of RAC.The oracle CRM provide the application predefined interface than can realize this function .But I don't know how to program the scripts and controled by CRM?
