how to mount pen drive in comand mode...
i tried to mount pen drive in command mode but its showing msg tere is no such a entry in 'fstab' in that file i enterd "/dev/sdb1 /mnt/usb vfat 0 0" my pendrive file format is FAT32.. after put the entry also i cant able to.. so plz any one give solution to mount it...

Hi,
have you looked in 'dmesg' and /var/log/messages to check that it has been assigned /dev/sdb?

As usual, it might help to see the actual
command with its actual error message, rather
than vague descriptions or interpretations.

grep usb fstab

You can mount the perndrive by using command.
# mount -t vfat /dev/sdb1 /mnt/usb
# mount -t vfat /dev/sdb1 /mnt/usb
