Re: how to sync time in both servers?

Make 1 server as a NTP server and sync the other server with it.

Without this you won't sync time between servers.

Re: how to sync time in both servers?

Shalom Mohammed,

What you need is a few things.

1) At least one system with port 123 exposed to the public Internet
2) ntp software

You set up your exposed system as a time server. You configure the system to get time from an accurate place like HP or the US Naval Observatory Atomic clock

You point all other internal systems to get time from the time server.

Note: NTP fixes time errors over a period of time by either running the system clock a little fast, or a little slow.

NTP will only adjust differences of an hour or so. Anything further, would require a manual change to get times close.

NEVER adjust time backwards on a running Oracle server.
