hp Compaq nx5000 and linux?

I like buy an hp Compaq nx5000 , I used windows and linux. I used to use mandrake but all distributions could be ok.
I did'nt find any information about the possibility to use linux with this computer.
If someone known something, could you answer?

The guy from there did install linux ,although he had some problems afterwords.So regarding the installation-it's possible...
