hp deskjet 845 all lights flash and i cant turn off

I unplugged the printer for a day and the lights still flash and i cant turn it off
the cartridge platform wont move when i open the case, im stuck in a moment i cant get out of... what can i do ???

Try the good ole' reset first:
1.Verify that the unit is switched ON.
2.Remove the power cable from the back of the machine.
3.Wait 20 seconds. Press and hold down the POWER button as you reinsert the power cable.
5.Release the POWER button when the unit is ON.
AND/OR:
Unplug the power cord when the printer is ON, then press and hold the # key & 6 key together while reconnecting the power cable ... release the buttons.

The blinking lights are a signal that there is a specific problem with your unit.
It has NOT gone haywire... :)
